Oncology Esthetics is a specialty that provides skin care services to cancer patients while they are undergoing treatment therapies or post treatment.

The skin, being the largest organ, is affected during cancer therapies. Aquae Sulis provides oncology patients with the comfort and relief that has not previously been available to them for managing the side effects of cancer treatment and therapies, such as dryness, loss of elasticity, rashes and more. Massage needs to be individually adjusted, depending on node removal and types of treatment underway. Spa services have been shown to increase production of endorphins, which in turn reduce stress levels and aid in pain management, anxiety, nausea, sleep and fatigue.
Understanding how to safely and effectively treat the skin, particularly when it is challenged by cancer is paramount to the psychological and physical care of the client. With our specialized training and certification, we can provide for these needs in the spa setting.

This is a 50 minute facial customized for each person based on his or her medical condition, using only the highest quality products specifically formulated for compromised skin. This relaxing treatment also includes a wonderful massage of the hands, feet and scalp to help reduce anxiety, pain, nausea and fatigue.

Moisturizing Body Wrap
This 80 minute service is designed to rejuvenate and hydrate the entire body. A very light, dry exfoliation will be performed, followed by a thick layer of organic creme. You will then be wrapped with blankets to keep you nice and warm, and for maximum product penetration. While you are wrapped, a 45 minute cleansing and hydrating facial will be performed, which includes a 10 minute scalp massage, using products that are specifically formulated for compromised skin. After unwrapped, you will then receive a hand and arm, foot and calf, and neck and shoulder massage for the ultimate relaxation experience.
